Cosmetic Plant won the grand prize – Grand Gold Award – for the BIOLIV ANTIAGING Anti-wrinkle day cream at World Quality Selections 2013, international product quality contest organized by Monde Selection, Brussels.
Awarded on the famous stage of Nobel Prizes in Stockholm, this quality award has been the highest distinction awarded by Monde Selection to a Romanian product this year, marking it the highest distinction ever awarded to a Romanian cosmetic product until today.
Founded in 1961, Monde Selection’s mission is to test products in various industries and reward them after rigorous criteria for quality and innovation. The Monde Selection Jury for cosmetics is composed of independent experts specializing in cosmetology, academics and chemists. The tests are done at CERIA’s Meurice Institute (Center for Education and Research in Food and Chemical Industry), Brussels.
Cosmetic Plant is not at the first international award, last year winning the Bronze Award for the Anti-wrinkle Day Cream with Q10&green tea, in the same prestigious competition.
“This medal honors us, says Susana Laszlo, Cosmetic Plant managing director, and it confirms that we have signed on the right track for the development of new products, using the correct ingredients and cosmetic innovations.
The product, based on ORGANIC olive oil and ORGANIC olive leaf extract, differentiated itself from the other 3,200 participating products by using natural and innovative ingredients. The presence of the active ingredient based on a tripeptide with enhancing collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis properties, as demonstrated by in vitro tests, grants the preparation a remarkable anti-wrinkle action. The product is formulated without parabens, silicones or dyes.
